It’s not easy being a woman.

While boys look good to go after brushing their teeth, throwing on a basic tee and pulling up their jeans, we ladies have got a 1,000 step morning routine to put together…and that’s not even on a “dress up” kind of day.

Being beauty-loving is all sorts of fun, having a few extra tricks up our sleeves never hurt! With tips straight from those who know best, we’ve made a list of our top 5 most remarkable and useful tricks to keep in mind day-to- day!

1. Dry Shampoo Fix

Finding the right dry shampoo is like finding the right guy. Serving multiple purposes, a spray of this stuff will not only absorb oil build-ups around your roots, but it’ll give your hair plenty of body and volume!

2. Brows on Point

Trace the underside of your brows with a pencil and use the line as your guide. Pencil hair-like strokes upwards from the guide and finish by gently brushing with a spooler to make it look natural. Clean it up with a little concealer and you will never have a bad brow day again. This has literally changed lives.

3. Best Blow-dry

When you’re doing a blowout on your hair with a round brush, you should dry your hair to about 75-80 percent first before using the brush. This will take out most of the moisture and make it quicker and easier to style.

4. Soft, Smooth Pout

Because dark lipstick is the shade of the season, and it’s not so forgiving when it comes to chapped lips. Scrub your lips with sugar and coconut oil prior to applying bold lip colour so that your lips are nice and hydrated and lipstick won’t crack!

5. Never Skip SPF

This may seem obvious, but some of you are still breaking the sun protection rule. No matter the season, no matter the weather conditions, you must wear an SPF of 30, daily. No skipping. Read more here: Why You Should Take Your Sunscreen Seriously!
